About the Global Solutions & Services Team 

The Global Solution Services team consists of Business Consulting (Evangelists), Solutions Consultants, and Professional Services. The team is spread around the globe and helps businesses to scale their digital CX innovations and operations internationally while supporting clients of all sizes. As part of a global team, you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from Sydney all the way to Sao Paulo, from New York to Singapore, and be part of a group of devoted professionals.

 

Job Summary

The Reporting Specialist plays a key role in supporting Emplifi clients by delivering custom analytics solutions tailored to their needs. As part of the Custom Analytics team, they are responsible for creating and maintaining bespoke reports, primarily using internal data visualization tools. They collaborate with consultants during the project definition phase to assess the feasibility of proposed solutions and suggest ways to incorporate meaningful insights that align with client objectives. Additionally, they contribute to the development and upkeep of automated data export pipelines.

 

What You'll Do Here

Key Stakeholders:
The Reporting Specialist will collaborate with both Emplifi clients and internal teams, including Sales and CX departments, to deliver custom analytics solutions based on client needs.

Technology & Tools:
The Reporting Specialist will have the opportunity to learn new technologies in line with team requirements and industry trends. The team provides robust onboarding support, including comprehensive educational materials for internal tools.

  • Internal Data Visualization Tooling
  • Data Sources: Internal APIs, S3, Hive Metastore, PostgreSQL
  • Programming Languages: Python, Pyspark, SQL

Processes:
The team works within an agile framework and participates in all relevant ceremonies. Our daily processes include:

  • Use of JIRA to support agile workflows
  • Version control with GIT
  • Adherence to code standards as defined by the team and/or general language style guides

 

What You’ll Bring to Us 

  • An interest in data analytics and reporting, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role
  • Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and independent approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to effectively communicate needs, challenges, and insights to both the team and stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of descriptive statistics
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or Pyspark is a plus, but not required
  • Previous experience with data visualization software is a plus, but not required
